Portrait of Yongjian Ke

Yongjian Ke

I am an Associate Professor in the School of Built Environment at the University of Technology Sydney, where I also serve as Director of Postgraduate Project Management Programs. My work brings together academic research, program leadership, editorial contribution, and engagement with the wider project management community.

I completed my Bachelor of Engineering in Project Management in 2005 and my PhD in Management Science and Engineering in 2010, both at Tsinghua University. Before joining UTS in 2016, I held academic and research appointments in mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia. These experiences have shaped the way I think about projects, infrastructure, and higher education.

Alongside my role at UTS, I contribute to the field through editorial appointments, research leadership, university governance, accreditation work, and international academic networks. These roles reflect my broader academic service and my interest in linking scholarly work with the practical demands of infrastructure delivery, project governance, and postgraduate education.
