Yongjian Ke

I am an Associate Professor in the School of Built Environment at the University of Technology Sydney, where I also serve as Director of Postgraduate Project Management Programs and School HDR Coordinator.

I completed my Bachelor in Project Management and PhD in Management Science and Engineering at Tsinghua University. Before joining UTS in 2016, I held academic and research appointments in mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Singapore, and Australia. This has shaped my perspective on projects and higher education across different institutional and cultural contexts.

At UTS and beyond, I contribute through research leadership, editorial appointments, university governance, accreditation, and international academic networks. Across these roles, I focus on connecting scholarly research with the practical challenges of infrastructure delivery, project governance, and postgraduate education.
